It’s with much excitement that we announce that we have officially moved our location…a whole mile down the road!

Our new location is at 130B Baker Ave Ext in Concord MA. It’s in an industrial business park which means 1.) We’ve moved up from a warehouse 2.) The people in the building next to us wear suits and ties 3.) THERE IS PARKING! We know that for everyone who came to our old location that parking was almost always an issue with a very popular café in the same alley and tons of shops in the area. We are proud to say that there is parking in front of and behind the building this time around, and we mean parking LOTS. We invite you to bring all of your friends, all in separate cars, to our events now! No carpooling is needed.

Why did we move? Over the last year it’s become apparent to us that we were growing very steadily. Growth means more gear and more employees to help with all of the shipments and daily phone calls (we can’t wait to introduce you to them!). More gear and employee’s means more space which we didn’t have. So here we are, in our brand new, totally redone, IKEA inspired, sleek office, all together and boy are we loving it!

A quick tour:

Shipping: Our new shipping room is more than 4 times the size of our old shipping room, which will accommodate our new shippers really nicely. Jenni’s favorite thing about the new shipping area is that she has two full walls of windows to look out of compared to her zero windows before! She also loves the new HUGE cage that fits absolutely everything in it.

Mini studio: We’ve made a separate mini studio for the LensProToGo employees. Here we will have a permanent table top station to photograph all of our new products that come in the door and also be able to record reviews and demos! We really look forward to utilizing this space after we get all of the proper gear!

The Office: For those of you who had the opportunity to see our old office space you’ll know why we love this area so much (we’re talking love so much that we don’t want to go home at night!) ((We may become a 24/7 company!)). Ben and I did a huge shopping trip down to IKEA and bought most everything from scratch. We had a plan in our mind on how we wanted it to come out and I think it turned out even better than what we thought it was going to look like. We all really enjoy our little lounge area which will be complete with a MAME cabinet and hopefully a pinball machine soon as well as a ping-pong table and inner office scooter parking :)

Conference Room: We made a separate conference room so we can work with our partners better through conference calls and Skype chats. It is also large enough to accommodate a small workshop.

Studio/Event Area: Again, those of your who have been to our old space know how large our studio/event space was. Though this space is smaller, it will still serve the same purpose and can accommodate about 75 people for seminars.

We would like to thank Sheryl Lanzel, Steve Iadarola and Nick and Brian from Easy Days Movers as well as Paul’s wife Jenn and dad Dennis for helping with the move. Also, thank you to Keegan, our soon to be new employee, for coming in on Sunday to help with odds and ends that needed to be completed. And a big thank you to Ben’s girlfriend Aimee for making us Rice Krispie Treats and bringing us drinks to end the night! We keep saying we love the new space but there just isn’t another way to say it.

Cheers to many great things happening in this space all together as a family!

It’s been a long wait but the time has finally come! We are very much excited to announce that we now offer the Canon C300 for rental. Today, we received three of them which are going to fit right in with our other video gear!

When Mike, Paul and I were in Charleston, SC for inFocus Event a few weeks ago we got to see ViewFinder Joe Simon test one out for 60 minutes. We went along with our supply of lenses and modifier to join in on the fun. Here is the completed video from a series of test shots. Remember we only had 60 minutes, about a block of which we could move from the hotel, a girl from the seminars for the model and practically 3 minutes for Joe to think about what he wanted to shoot!

I’m not sure about you, but I really enjoyed seeing all of the photos this week. It’s always fun to see how you all present a photo to represent a theme but the great part of this was before I read the titles of the songs I tried to figure out what song you had chosen. I have to say that you all did a wonderful job with your Movie and Song Titles!

Let’s take a look at some of the top photos of the week!

I’ll admit, Week 6 was hard, even for me! Everyone who posted a photo did such a wonderful job. Seeing you all post inspires me to get out and shoot even after moving boxes of gear all day long! It makes me excited to see our followers in the 52 Week Group take a theme and shoot a photo to show it through their eyes. I’m not sure about you but I absolutely love taking time at night to run through all of the photos and see what everyone is posting! Thanks, everyone, for coming along for this year long ride!

Week 7 is all about Light and how we see it. Do you see light through a portrait? A Sunrise? Car headlights? Street lamps? Light is everywhere and almost on everything. Show us how you see light this week!
