kon 35mm 1.4 last weekend for my two sessions. I knew that the two dogs I had scheduled would be perfect to try out the 35mm with. The first session was going to star both Maggie, the dog, and her mom. With the extra room the 35mm gives (versus my go to 50mm lens) I knew I’d be able to fit them both comfortably in the frame. The second session was with an absolutely hilarious dog named Mufasa. (Moof for short.) The 35mm is just wide enough to give a “wide” look, but, not so wide as to cause a lot of distortion. It captured Moof’s silly nature perfectly without making him look like a bobble head. (not a look my clients are fond of) The 35mm 1.4 worked absolutely wonderfully in conjunction with my 50mm for these two sessions… I’ll be renting again soon! LensProToGo was very fast, helpful, and I had my lens right on time. I cannot recommend them enough.

It's so exciting to come across this post; a pet photographer sparked my desire to trade in my point & shoot for a DSLR in 2009 and although my "niche" is photography blogging, I love pet photographers.
