WHAT TYPE OF PHOTOGRAPHY DO YOU DO? I specialize in children and family photography along with maternity, newborn, high school seniors and relationships.WHY DO I RENT FROM LPTG: LPTG is a perfect resource for trying out a new piece of equipment before making the purchase. After renting, I cannot wait to get my hands on a new Nikon 85 f/1.4 G. I currently own the 85 f/1.8 D which is my primary lens. After renting from LPTG and testing out this lens… I am sold! That is so sweet!!!! LOVE these photos! I am investing in my very first L series lens very soon and I cannot wait! I just sold my house ;) I do mostly children portraiture but also weddings so I'm thinking the 70-200 2.8 would be the most versatile? What do you think? Would LOVE your advice! I have the 50mm 1.8 which I could keep on my back up camera ? hmmmmm

Sorry I am just now responding to your question. Unfortunately, I cannot give you much advice when it comes to wedding photography. I would assume a zoom lens would give you more versatility for weddings but do not have experience with zoom lenses as I am strictly a prime girl! Best of luck. :)
