Canon 17-55mm 2.8, 70-200mm 2.8, 24-70mm 2.8

What type of photography do you do? I specialize in child and family photography as well as the occasional “fur baby”. I love that I get to be a part of the most precious moments in my clients lives. Whether it’s a maternity session capturing the glow of the new parents to be, or a one year old full of cake celebrating the significant milestone of a first birthday. This is what allows me to call them friends, not just clients. Each of these moments holds a place in my heart and I wouldn’t trade it for the world!

Why do you rent gear from us? I’ve rented gear from LPTG for a couple of reasons. One being that the customer service is AMAZING! I originally called with questions about a lens that I was looking to purchase. I was amazed at the help I received over the phone. Not only did he (Mike) answer my questions, he went above and beyond and gave me advice about other lenses that I may be interested in trying. I have rented two lenses since then and plan to continue doing so. LPTG is great for someone like me who doesn’t necessarily need to purchase a new lens but may need one for a particular shoot. Another great thing about renting from LPTG is you have the chance to be creative when using equipment that you don’t normally carry. The Canon 70-200mm lens is not one I would consider as a go to lens but I would venture to say I will rent it again in the future. It allowed me to steer away from my beloved “nifty 50″ and think outside the box a bit.

Random “fun fact”: I am a party planning enthusiast. I love it! Every little detail makes me so giddy. Designing the invitations, choosing the menu, discovering fantastic DIY decorations and although I’m definitely not Betty Crocker, I even love the cake baking part. :)
