What we do: We are wedding photographers based out of Durham, North Carolina. We grew up in families that celebrate art and photography. Over time we’ve built our business trying to do what we love and to serve others. Weddings provide an outlet for our skills and the opportunity to provide memories that last for generations. We get to be a part of very special times in our client’s lives and we are honored that they trust us to do so. We get to meet new people, be a part of other cultures, and see new places on a regular basis. And, lets not forget we get to try all kinds of cake! :) We love what we do, and we hope it shows through in our work. We want to make our clients proud of the imagery we’ve created for them.

Why we use LPTG: We rent from LPTG for many reasons. First off, they have the best customer service on the planet! We’ve never had a question that wasn’t answered immediately and they’ve always worked WITH us to get us the equipment precisely when we needed it, even when we needed last minute rentals. Their gear is always clean and working flawlessly. Their prices are the cheapest and include everything you need for shipping. Its all very simple and makes for an easy experience. As for renting, most of the time it’s to try out a lens or camera to see if it fits our needs for future equipment purchases. Getting to use equipment for your own purposes is invaluable when making decisions on what equipment would be a good fit for our own business. We rented the 85 1.4D twice until we finally decided to get the 85 1.4G for ourselves. On another occasion, my mother knocked over our camera, which destroyed the lens; we rented the 24-70 during the time that our lens was being repaired. Other times we just need a backup body or lens depending on the situation. Weddings are unpredictable, and LPTG provides us with the tools we need to make sure we are prepared in a pinch.

Fun random fact: Thad is a unicyclist and Sarah is a basketball official.
