ViewFinder Christa Meola
on Dec 27 in News, Photography by MegWe are proud to introduce our next ViewFinder who will be interviewed; New York City Boudoir Photographer Christa Meola. Christa has enjoyed life behind the camera since she was six years old. Her talent for photography and storytelling was evident at a young age, as her early school days were spent in the Gifted & Talented program, shooting pictures and developing prints in her school's janitor-closet-turned-darkroom.
Christa's childhood passion has developed into a successful career, and she currently travels internationally for commissioned portraits, specializing in fine art nudes and boudoir photography for women. Christa is a leader in her industry, speaks at photography conventions across the U.S and enjoys empowering other professiona
ls through her worldwide in-person and online workshops. While her sensibility has matured to reflect the soul of a woman, her child-like sense of adventure and exuberant spirit remains. A born and raised Jersey girl, Christa currently lives in New York City.
We will begin Christa's interview soon but want you to get involved as well! Like the first ViewFinder we interviewed, Shawn Reeder, Christa will be giving away some prizes to the top three questions asked. Her prizes include her 'The Money Shots' book, an online portfolio review and lastly a free seat to her upcoming online workshop!

I struggle with posing. What are your suggestion for where to start with posing and how to build on those poses? I think I’m more nervous than the model or the woman I’m photographing is.
